Hi all,

my girlfriend has just bought a 2007 Yaris Zinc 1.3 (reg NJ07 UNX) and we need a replacement gearknob for it as the old one is worn/ scratched to bits. She isn't picking the car up until Wednesday so I'm trying find out the part number before then so I can get her a new one for when she collects the car.

The car is my girlfriend's and she wants to keep it exactly how it is. I used to have a 2007 Yaris SR so I've been trying to convince her to get this one:

Can't believe the price of them now. I remember buying an Aygo knob for my 2010 Aygo for £20 and it was exactly like the one I'm after, but just got a price for one of those and it was £99 :(

I think that comes from a 2009 Aygo Black, reg: PK09 TYH.

I've no idea where I got £163 from I must've read the message after working night shift, sorry about that. £100 is still pretty steep though, and I can't see prices like that doing anything other than creating resentment towards manufacturers/ dealers. I think £50 for the accessory ones I've seen is not too bad a price though.

I have long given up justifying manufacturers prices, even £50 for one seems expensive to me, horses for courses eh?
