Gen 2 Dvd Player

Recommended Posts

I have a new one hour commute and downloaded about 20 BBC radio programmes onto a blank DVD disc in MP3 format to help with the journey. It plays OK on the desk PC but not in the car.

Can the car standard player not do MP3 or am I doing something wrong. Any help would make my commute tolerable.

Think it will probably need to be a CD rather than a DVD.

I believe they need to be burned as audio format rather than just mp3.

Edit - just checked mine and they are audio cd format

I think you'll find on the Gen 2, the T3 had a basic CD player that couldn't do MP3, the T4/Spirits had a higher spec system (JBL, I think) which could.
