Need Speaker And Stereo Advice Please

Hello, I'm new to this forum,

I purchased an 2011 aygo go a few months ago and I'm really happy with it, however I'm rather disappointed with the sound quality, Speakers etc...

I just need some advice on installing new Speakers and headunit, I have the 3 door model so dash and front door Speakers, but I was also wanting to put speakers in the custom parcel shelf I have made.

I'm looking to spend a decent amount of money for a good headunit and speakers,

Would I need to connect the parcel shelf speakers directly to the Battery?

Do I need a amplifier?

What speakers are recommended?

Do I need a second Battery?

And is there anything else I would need?

Thanks for helping,

i would go for a headunit that does more than you want it to do so you can upgrade it later on,

maybe something like this :-

http://www.caraudiocentre.co.uk/product_m-clarion-vz402e_p-27666.htm

you can add on modules for sat nav,dab and dvb tv and add a camera for reversing ,rear monitors

ths list is endless what you can do,your only limit is your wallet.

there are also preouts so amps can be added on in the future.

as long as subs go mostgo for underseat due to space constraints in the aygo so any of these would be good :-

But would I need a amplifier for new Speakers?

Or do I just wire everything to the back of the after market stereo - dash Speakers, door Speakers and parcel shelf speakers

The new head unit would power the Speakers. Wait until you get the head unit and subwoofer before deciding if you want to change the Speakers, you might find they sound ok with a sub helping out.

take your time dont rush about choosing your head unit make sure its what you want, you will have this headunit a long time so you have to get our purchase right at the beginning.
