Hi I’ve got an 06 Corolla compressor I’ve recently replaced the inlet cam and followers as it was damaged. Since I’ve done that when it revs past 6k it ticks really loud and dosnt go into lift. Anyone ever heard of this?

Hi Stuart, lovely comp got a silver one myself. I would start by looking at the cam area again. Something is not been installed right, where did you get the cam from? Also any check engine light/codes.
