Auris headlights

Hi All,

My wife had a little bump this morning on the ice and smashed one of her headlights. I’ve got a couple of questions hopefully someone can answer.

Do I need a proper genuine replacement or will one of the cheaper ones be okay and is it a bumper off job?

Are there any guides about? I’ve looked around and I can’t see anything for the Auris. It’s a 2008 2.2 180.

Many thanks,

Paul

Why not just get one from the breakers? That might be the best solution. Yes, it's a bumper job

Here are the instructions

Good luck!

Yeah, breakers sounds like a good idea, though I would be surprised to find many of these at breakers.

Thanks for that guide; looks like an easy enough job. Is the Camry the same model but from the states? There seem to be a few video’s on Youtube when searing for Auris that come up with Camry.

Cheers,

Paul

The Camry is larger than the Avensis - the nearest equivalent to the first generation Auris was the Corolla sedan/saloon.

Avoid the Chinese  replacement units on eBay, as the one I bought didn't have the correct electrical connections.
