A Couple Of Problems With My St185 Cs

Hi I'm the proud new owner of a 1992 ST185 CS.

However it does seem to have a couple of problems. :crybaby:

1. It appears to have the obligitory problem with the rear diff bush, where do I get replacements?

2. It seems to run hot after both a short blast 10miles and a 45mile motorway run at 85 (70 for the police) at different times the water appears to be boiling in the radiator! Is this normal I've heard that a lot of people using a lower temp thermostat does this realt help that much or do they just run realy hot? The temperature gauge reads OK.

3. No badges or paperwork (CS wise), any ideas how to find out the Ltd edition number?

Any help would be much apreciated.

For your questions 1&2, your best bet would be to check on the GT4OC.

For No.3 - I spoke to my CS owner neighbour this afternoon and he said if you give the VIN/Chassis number to a Toyota main dealer, they will be able to tell you the production number of your car. They may also be able to source replacement decals and plates (but as they were so ltd, it will cost you).

HTH

With number 2 (fnar) it sounds like a air lock in the system .. give the coolant a full bleed (the MR2 with the same engine, sufferers the same symptom)
