Rear tail lights!!!

Hi.....

Got stopped last night.... No tail lights!!!

Every other light works!! Brake lights ✔️, number plate lights ✔️, indicators ✔️ and I've tried new bulbs but still nothing. I've checked the fuse too and that's intact. I've taken the fuse out and number plate lights are off along with the front fogs.

Can anyone suggest anything?? Are the tail lights on a separate fuse to other rear lights?

For information, it's both tail lights and they're independent to the brakes.

Thanks in anticipation...

It's an 08 Auris 180

Hi, you have only one 10 amps fuse for all parking lights, front and rear, and license plate too.

If all, front and license plate lights are working, except tail lights, check with a voltmeter the plus wire of tail light bulb, green one and if voltage is present check continuity of ground wire of these bulb, white/black one.

If you don't have continuity of minus wire, replace it with another one.

Just check your bulbs.

One may have blown ages ago and then the 2nd one just recently...
