Second Remote Fob - 2021 Aygo

We've just collected a new Aygo this morning - a new car for my wife, here after known as Senior Management 😉

I was a bit surprised it came with only one remote fob. The second key does, of course, open the car, start it etc, but for out other vehicles we have two fobs (an Outlander and a  Motorhome). 

Is it possible to buy a second fob? I see fobs - can the car electronics support multiple fobs?  Any idea of cost etc?  I note there are details of "mating" fobs on older versions on YouTube but Senior Management is "sensitive" about a DIY solution !

I thought Brian said the car has a second key, it’s just not a fob key.

My 2008 came with one remote key and one plain key, but my 2020 (which has keyless) came with two remote keys - maybe unless you have keyless you only get 1 remote (fob) key as standard?

I was in Timpsons the other day, they seem to have that sort of key.  You might try them.

I have read an article in car mechanics magazine that quite a few manufacturers are now supplying new cars with only one remote fob because of the chip shortages.

We only got one remote with the missus new Yaris.
