Amber Rear Seatbelt light on

Hello,

Today is my first day owning an urban cruiser and I have just noticed the 3 amber seat belt lights on the dash that stay on.
I know if someone was to sit in there without a belt on a little red light comes on underneath the relevant sign and when the belt is fastened the red light goes out. My question is do those amber seat signs stay on all the time or should they go out after a minute or so of driving as it’s quite annoying especially at night time.

Forgot to mention that they are on all the time even with nobody sat in the back.

Do you carry people in the rear often?  If No, then fasten up all 3 belts and leave them. That should stop the lights. That’s how I find the rear seatbelts after a MOT.
