Scratched plastic interior trim. How to fix?

Hey so just got a used Auris. I think the previous owner used it as a trailer or something! as there are scratches to some or the interior trim panels and dash.

Some are just scuffs but some are deeper scratches. I have seen several YouTube videos of people using heat guns to melt these out but this doesn't seem ideal when you end up with shiny bits where you used the heat gun. Anyway, what are the best ways to improve or remove these scratches?

You might be able to get a colour matched wax such as it used for furniture.

I've had this on previous cars (old ones) so never set out to fix them. I think really the best bet is to just replace them - heat guns are a dangerous game they can melt / warp / burn all those materials and the ones surrounding them. Personally I'd live with it!
