Having put destination into unit a display of 3 options pops up ,literally,pops up for  only a couple of seconds not giving my grey matter time to decide which route/option to go for.

My question is:- Is there any way of getting these options to stay on screen for longer ? Please.

There is no way to make the option display for longer however you can access the option again see page 90 of manual attached

Someone posted the following method last year. Tap the screen anywhere as soon as the choices appear and the 3 choices don't disappear as quickly.  It works on mine but you only have a couple of seconds to tap the screen.
