Alloy wheel centre cap removal?

Might be a simple question... how is the centre cap on the standard iQ allow wheels removed? Does it just prise off, or do I need to take the wheel off and do something from the rear? I'm assuming the former, but didnt want to poke in at it until I was sure in case of damaging it.

I'm looking to take them off to paint anthracite to match the colour of our refurbished wheels.

You can push it out from the inside.

It is possible to lever it out with a slender enough trim tool but it's a bazillion times easier just to pop it out from the inside.

Just be very careful, as it's held in by 4 plastic tangs being pressed against the wheel by a metal spring coil thingy and it's really easy to snap the tangs off (I guess they get brittle over the years).

I slowly lost all 4 of the ones from my old Mk1 D4D and ended up getting a mate to 3D print some inserts to fill the holes after PartsKing told me how much the genuine replacement ones were

I removed mine from the 3 spare wheels I bought. They pushed off quite easily from the inside of the wheel, with no broken plastic lugs.
