Touch 2 & Go connections?

Dies anyone know if there are any connections on the back of the unit that could be used for 'audio out' to another device?

Good question, but what would you need an audio out for?

Either way, the problem is the lack of info about these Touch and go systems...

Here is a scheme when you install the navigator, it warns you to change the USB plug from the radio unit to the navi (I guess to be able to update the maps via USB)... but it's an "input" USB.

But the manual doesn't tell anything about the other connectors. Here you have it:

I wanted to feed a bluetooth transmitter so passengers in the rear seats can use bluetooth headphones to listen to the system. When you said "it warns you to change the USB plug from the radio unit to the navi..." - does this mean the 'old' USB connection (the one with the 'X' next to it) is an 'output' USB?

I don't think that the 'X'-labelled USB is an output signal.

On the contrary, I think it's an input. When I installed the navigator, I forgot to unplug the USB from the 'X' in the radio module. As a result, the USB stick on the dashboard was ignored, no music whatsoever. I checked the aforementioned manual, and connected it to the 'OK tick' plug in the navi: solved.

The problem is the manual explains nothing. I guess you have to change the USB plug, so that the navi can be updated/serviced via the dashboard USB.

I tried to find a wiring diagram for the radio, but no success. Does anybody know?

BTW, my radio model is 86140-02010, with touch and go v.1

Its USB its used for connecting USB devices

the DA (Radio) has USB, when you add the Nav module it disables this port - the instructions tell you this

The OP wanted AUX in, not USB

I have posted the pinouts many times

So there's no 'Audio Out' on any pin...

There is no audio out or preout, but you could run a line level convertor on the rear Speakers for around £15 upwards

flash22,

where could I check the wiring for my radio? (86140-02010 touch and go 1)

I've searched on pinoutguide.com (and some other websites recommended in other TOC forums), but no success. It's just for curiosity, no problems here.

You will not find it pinouts on 95% of the web, just on the forums

As I posted above it's on the 28 pin connector it will not have the pins in the connector installed

leads work on the touch, and touch2 up to 2018 on the Auris

you can get a plug and play lead

eg. https://car-solutions.com/en/cable-for-rear-view-camera-connection-in-toyota-scion-subaru/
