Hi there, newbie to this forum here :) . I've got a March '93 GTi model and she's meant to be a UK one but how do you tell the difference?

I've been searching or ages for any kind of info or manual for her but not having much luck. I'm trying to improve her performance etc but not sure if I can put an induction kit on or not .... amongst other things!

Any info would be a huge help, feel free to email or contact me through Yahoo or MSN if that easier. (details on my profile)

Cheers

Suzi :help:

Firstly welcoem to the site... (aka the Nut House)

Nice choice of mota... lovely 5th gen Celica..

K&N 75i is a very popular induction kit for the Celica.. i used to have one on my old car.. increases the throttle response and give it a lovely sound.. especially if you have a exhaust system added as well...

Enjoy the site... If you have any problems mechanically.. Asha is your lady to help ya! :D

Hiya Fizz, thx for the welcome too :)

It took me a few months to find mine but worth the wait! Althought I do feel a bit guitly after looking at your pics .... mine's not in the best condition at the mo., but trying to get her looking good over the winter months.

Q. How come you went from the Celica to the MR2??

Hey.. Im a typical Guy.. my car was mint when i bought it.. saved me doing any work on it!..

Im sure your baby will coem on a treat... Any Pics?

With regards to the MR2... erm.. natrual Progression? Either that or the GT4 but they were hard to find in decent condition and cost more to maintain.

Also the MR2 had the T-bars and a lot quicker in a straight line.. the Mid engine RWD was also a big factor..

Thats fair enough. Mines an on going project, lol. I've got a couple of pics but (being a real girl here) can't work out how to out them on here :help:

I do like the GT4's and have considered it but not changing mine now, rather do her up.
