Keyfob Wont Unlock Car Or Disable Alarm

Hi, having a problem with my celica, the remote wont unlock car even though it has a new Battery and the light flashes. Now i cant open the doors without the alarm gooing off. is it that the the alarm/remote need recoding? problem with remote sensor? how would i disable the alarm? hope someone can help

alot of the remotes have got a curtain time to change batterys it will probeley need recoding some alarms you can get to the earth lead and take it off put most are protected against that is it immoboliser as well i dont know what to surgest soz there a place in stourport nr worcs auto guard sandy lane there very good they riped out my old one put new on in cat1 sigma series 30 for just over £300 good luck let me know how you get on sorry if i aint helped much

Within normal range of the car, try holding down the on/off button of the keyfob for 10 seconds. It may re-sync the handset. Also my keyfob is a bit dodgy and I often have to stand close to the car and press it a few times to get it to work. Good Luck :thumbsup:

:D problem solved! left Battery out of remote and car Battery disconnected over night. This morning disconnected siren(for good measure), then reconnected batterys and everything worked as it should. job done! without the dealers bill
