I know very little about the technical side of supras so advice/help is welcomed!

I'm after a non turbo 3.0sz in good nick

As far as i can see from googling the insurance group is 16 for one of these, I know it doesn't always work that way with insurance companies and i'll struggle as a 20year old with 0 ncb... but, it's ok.

What should I be looking out for when viewing a supra?

thanks

Sam

First thing you should do, Is phone for some Insurance Quotes.

Most will laugh in your face but specialists will insure you

(but it's going to be pricey for you)

dont know how much your willing to spend, but through my own search looking for a Twin Turbo.

I Found these two stunning examples at www.carplanetltd.co.uk

the red is manual and the turqouise is auto.

If you do go speak to Albert.

When looking at them, just ask the obvious q's like; has it been serviced as the cam belts been replaced etc etc. look for rust ,body work damage and chassis flex. When driving feel for vibration through the wheel and gearbox and do full lock steer, listening out for knocking driveshafts.

(dont kill yourself testing it though, going from a Yaris to a Supra is a big leap)

I can vouch the Red one is in A1 condition as I've had a play in it.

The drivers door didn't shut properly but they assured me; they where fixing it asap.

dont forget to give it a good blast on a straight and slam the brakes on a see if it pulls to either side. not a good sign if it does!

As someone has just bought it B) (not you is it?) :D

The sales rep phoned me asking I want to put a deposit down, but I told him only a TT will do. ;)
