Do you know that Fiat (lancia) are not the ones bringing it back...

some guy in italy found out the name was not copyrighted, so set about remaking the classic - i think it was the paris motor show when it was shown, and it took fiats lawyers all of 25 minutes before arriving on the stand..

but yeah, it will be great if its made!

Gorgeous and well styled. I like the way it still has a 'look' of the original Stratos which was an awesome car in its own right.

I believe they did have to ask Lancia and Alitalia if they could use the livery though.

Look at it from Fiat's point of view though - its a win/win situation. They get the publicity, exposure and "halo effect" from a popular show/limited production car with no investment whatsoever and if it all goes wrong they can hold up their hands and say, "nothing to do with us..."

you are right - the green one was the original release - after working with Fiat they got permission to use the livery...

Your right as well, Fiat were trying to sue until they heard the feedback at the motorshow, and decided it wasnt actually a good idea to try and stop it..
