Anyone Selling Some Lowering Springs?

Hi all,

Having just failed the MOT on a n,s,r broken spring, it got me thinking?

How much lower is an SR as standard when it leaves the factory?

And for 1 spring plus fitting it would cost £70+VAT, So i thought i would do it a bit cheaper, and buy a full set of lowering springs (off eBay, or someone here if poss)

and make it ride a bit lower :hokus-pokus:

So what does anyone have for sale?

Nick

I havnt got any for sale but often on eBay there is Gmax lowering springs from a seller who is pretty good and you dont get ripped off for postage. I have Gmax on my yaris, drops it 40mm, i thought that the SR was on standard springs, didnt think it was lower that other yaris's

There's been a lot of talk about this before, and still no actual answer!

I think, the SR springs are easily 25-30mm lower and definately made by TTE, so if you you're looking for better handling i'd opt for 30mm+ drop, but if it were me, I'd go the full load and get coilovers.

And just to rub it in, mine passed it's MOT on friday.

No idea what springs they are, think they're -30mm, the shocks are also 7% stiffer.

All i know is that my car ain't going no lower... it grounds out on my girlfriends drive, the speed bumps on the way to the pub, the speed bumps on the way to the gym and on a few local country lanes if you follow me there are plenty of sparks outta the back from yet more grounding!

It handles well enough for me to keep it as it is!

Its hard to tell as it isnt on springs its the actual chassis that has been designed lower on a tsport so im guessing you will need to look at official toyota specs for that info!
