Im considering trading in my Samsung D500 for a Motorola Razer V3.

Has anybody on here had one, and if so what are you views on them?

Good, :censor: , ok.

Would you recommend them?

Cheers, Kirst :D

Out of the D500 and the V3 Razr - I chose the D500 myself....

They're very similarly specced phones.... plus there are better ones out there now - if you're going to upgrade, actually upgrade, no point getting a phone of a similar spec....

Just my opinion though....

when i worled for motorola i was told that most motorolas are same which basically mean they all have same crap software, even v3, basically dont bother if u do buy a cheaper motorola , will be same phone with better Battery

got one

never use the camera, as all camera phones are crap, memory is very small, no video feature although the phone can be flashed to add this feature but not worth the trouble.

Can play .mp3 real tone ringtones and has a decent size screen.

I only got it because it was thin, and I liked the blue keys and keypad.

No problems so far, but that's what the insurance is for.

After setting my sisters new phone up that she had for christmas

(a Samsung e530) I don't like my phone much any more.

Although her phone is slightly thicker and it's narrower than the v3 it just feels much better in your hand than the v3.

The v3 just looks like a flat brick, after playing with the Samsung.

Its a cery nice phone, but I personally cannot stand the motorola menus... I was all set to get one dispite my dislike for the menus..... then I saw a Nokia 8800 in the flesh.... After that nothing else would do!

Are we talking razr as in ipod phone ? If so wouldn't bother at all....

If your after a good phone on the market have a look at the Sony w800i, superb 2Mp camera, 512Mb card as standard (approx 200 songs on file) and decent headphones.

Nevr hda a problem with mine and love it to bits :D

Got bored yesterday and snapped this on my phone :D

I have just changed my k750i for a V3, The k750i just broke to many times (3 to be precise) although the v3 is more basic i cant fault it, less to go wrong.

Why do people automaticly assume people want to use a phone as a !Removed! mp3 player or a camera?????

Phone cameras tend to be crap anyway... (even the 2 mega pixel ones with flash)

I made a truely gorundbreaking decision when I bought my phone.... I wanted it to make calls on  My other priority is build quality and feeling well made hence my toss up between the V3 and 8800 (laser cut stainless steal wooo)

I couldnt agree more charlie - your phone is for making calls on  - i would start by judging it by the call tariffs not the quality of the photos ;)
