TRAX 2006 – Silverstone – Sunday 3rd September - 2006

This is an Car club / track event; which attracts thousands of enthusiasts - Club displays, trade stands, 0-60 mph sprint, circuit rides and track action for those wishing to take part or just to look around and spectate.

I know TOC havent got a stand.

I'm going, must do the 0-60, and it is the D1 final in the afternoon.

Going to leave Marlow at about 8:30-9am, so be there 10:30 or so probably.

No, I want to see the Soarer perform! Went out for a few practice starts the other day ... thought I could just sit there with the left foot on the brake and the right foot on the throttle and the auto box would let it sit at about 4000 revs until I was ready to launch.

Alas, at about 2000rpm there was this monster squeal from the back as the tyres lit up Scary man! You don't realise that the auto box still transfers a lot of power even though there is some slip.

Great party piece, though :D
