hi ya new to a hybrid might be a silly question but is it ture that when the Battery gets low the car can start on it own and charge? some one told me this but not sure to belive it ? sounds danguros if you working on it and just starts up!

It sort of could...if you had the 'keys' in the 'ignition' and the Power light was on. If the car thought the Battery needed a topping up it would start the engine but the car certainly wouldn't move. For that to happen you'd need to be in the car, depress the brake pedal and move the shift lever. If you are worried just don't leave the 'keys' in the 'ignition' and turn the Power on.
