I Went Karting Today!

Couple of weeks ago a chap in work organised a Karting event where anyone was welcome.

I Agreed to go before I realised what I'd let myself in for! Once I found out the details I thought to myself "Ah crap, never been Karting before and I'm going straight on these?"

We went to the Three-Sisters course using Twin Unrestricted 160cc Honda engined Karts capable of 70Mph.

Needless to say it was fun as hell but I came last! I did improve quite a fair bit though! My fastest qualifying lap was 1:09 seconds. Which sucks, obviously.

Started in 15th out of 15 people on the grid. Got our results back at the end of the race and my quickest lap was 58.47 seconds! I was well impresses that I managed to make up over 10 seconds!

Has anyone been on that course ebfore? and if so what was your lap times? Would be interesting to see how crap I am.

The guy who won was lapping at 51 seconds.

Would prefer a different track from the last one though....It was a bit boring

Dependant on the location I'd be willing to come and get my behind handed to me yet again!
