Hi Folks. This topic has interested me for a long time. How do members go about keeping their vehicles in top condition. and also bearing in mind that these expensive necessities have now to last much longer.

Daz Thanks for your reply, detailing cars as you will be aware enjoys cult status in most western countries. and I was interested in whether owners of Toyota cars have the same attitude to the upkeep of their respective cars. I, over the years have seen many changes in the materials used in the manufacture of cars and often wonder whether the older materials gave us better satisfaction when maintaining etc than the materials used today.

I hope that members will respond with their views.
