Help - Toyota Iq Door Mirror Removal Anyone?

Can anyone please tell me how to take off the inside plastix triangular panel on the TOYOTA IQ in order to gain access to the three bolts holding the side door mirror? Thanks

Hi George

As with most pf the car its a case of grab and pull. The triangle is held under an edge at the bottom. So simply grab the pointed top part and pull it towards you. If you undo the 3 bolts. You will still have to take the rest of the door cover off to un- clip the cable. Unless of course you are taking the mirror apart and dis-connecting that end. To remove the glass you have to put a blade under the front edge and lever the the bottom off its connectors then the mirror un-hooks. It is only then you can get to the tabs holding the mirror cover on. Release them and take the cover off to get to the wiring harness. Hope that helps
