Hi everybody,I've decided to do my own maintenence from now on and I would need a list of the things to be done at the various maintenence schedules as the car gets older, and possibly a tutorial on how to do them correctly.Filter changes, sparkplug change, brake-pads & rotor, oil change ect.I have a 2005 Yaris 1000cc petrol engine, can anybody help?

To do those items you'll need a good socket set, spanners and axle stands. Preferably a decent trolly jack to make your life easier.

Have a look in the servicing manual in your logbook pack. It gives you a list of when and what needs changing / inspecting.

This is for the UK car, so may not be available over the water and it probably won't cover the 1.5 litre engine and auto gearbox as most UK cars has a 1.0 and 1.3 litre engines and "stick shift" gearboxes - only the T Sport had the 1.5 engine in the UK....
