Steering Rack Ends

I'm about to change my driver's side steering rack end - the piece that goes from the steering rack to the track rod end. This is on my Will which is Yaris based. Now, is this a common replacement part on Yarises? There are certainly a few rack ends to choose from on eBay for example. Mine was a little bent. And it looks like a straightforward job. Is there anything I should know before starting..? I'm going to take care to keep the tracking the same and get it aligned afterwards. :D
