I have a 2002 Avensis GS. Can you tell me whether these come as standard with sat nav? The head unit has the buttons for guidance etc. but I do not have the unit in the boot. I have located under the carpet on the passenger side some block connectors which is what I assume the unit plugs into.

So my question is did they make the 2002 GS without the satnav or has it gone walkies before I bought it last year. Secondly on eBay I can pick up a unit for the boot for £30-40 or so, but would I need an additional GPS receiver? I assume if the boot unit had gone missing at some point the GPS receiver might still be there somewhere?
