Hello From A Starlet Owner...

Hello from sunny Lincolnshire.

I needed a second car as a runabout as I didn't want to put miles on and do winter in my posh RWD motor. So with a criteria of it had to pay for itself by virtue of reduced petrol costs and be uber-reliable but not be too slow (ala 1.0 Nissan Micra / 8v VW 1.4's etc) the Starlet ticked all the boxes. A hidden gem i'd say, cruelly overlooked by most ignorants as unfashionable these days. But still with lots of life in them.

Anyway. I found a fairly clean one with 50k on it - and god have I grown to love it! My Starlet is a white 3 dr 98 S manual, and it's all nice and tidy inside and mechanically although a few dings on the bodywork. But it all adds to the little cars incredible character :)

I love it almost as much as my posh car. And it's nearly as much fun to drive (although in a very different way).

Best £1000 i've ever spent no contest. I've had 3 Honda's in the past, but this is my first Toyota. I can see why people love them....
