How To Remove Toyota Yaris Verso Radiator Thermostat?

Hi, My Yaris verso's radiator fan is not walking and the engine overheating light is flashing. My friend gives me a new thermostat and asked me to try to new thermostat before deciding the fan is broken. However, I tried really hard, but just can't remove the radiator thermostat. I tried to twist it or see if there is any clip or screws, but can't find any. I take a photo to show the thermostat in the car at the moment. Can someone help?
