Adding A Sb Sd Card Aux Adapter Interface

Hi,

My wife has a Yaris 1.8SR (08) and is very reluctant to change the car for anything else.

We have looked at other cars but as a second family car it is surprising the amount of space you get in the back for your little ones compared to a few new cars on the market (Mazda 2/CX-3).

Now as the title says I want to add a media facility to allow a USB/SD card to be used for music but I cannot find anything to confirm these adapters will work with the version (58828) stereo that comes with the Yaris 1.8SR.

Does it have a CD changer connection on the back or has anyone else solved the issue?

I would prefer at this moment not to pull the stereo out to check.

Thank you in advance for any replies.

Am 95% one of these with the smaller Type 1 connector will work - http://www.xcarlink.co.uk/product.php?productid=35&cat=11&page=1

Is pricey for what it is but works well enough.

Tricky bit is you may need the Y cable if something's already plugged into the CD Changer port, but hard to know without taking the radio out.

There was a good site, www.fitaudio.com, which had guides on removing the radios from various cars, but annoyingly it seems to be down :(
