I want to tow an IQ behind a motorhome but it's very near to the weight limit. Has anyone removed the rear seats from an IQ to save weight? It's been done in the US as I've seen it on another forum but does anyone know what the total weight of the removed seats etc is?

Hi

Sorry for the late reply.

I've removed the rear seats in mine but I didn't do it to save weight, it was purely so I have more space.

I have left all the factory clips on the car and the rear seatbelts and just added a false floor so the rear seat can easily be bolted back in.

Hope this helps a little.
