Engine Management Light Came on today

Still no MIL light?

That should be a good sign.

Fingers crossed.

Initially it would show up around every 1000miles, then around 500miles then .....eventually it return after around 50-60miles, so I got fed up of resetting the eml. 

I stuck a bore camera in while I had the sensors off, it looked clean and the mesh looked in tacked so hopefully I wont have to replace the cat.

So by the time you have done another 500-1000 miles without the problem, it should be the end of it.

I am surprised that there doesn't appear to a noticeable difference in the sensor readings, after they had been replaced.

Yes, so was I. I am going to hook up the techstream this weekend, see what that reports.
