My old amd k62 400 ran at 2gigahertz before the cryongenics gave up, i was coughing though from the fumes, but eeeeh them were the days?

No mate, it came with a nice silent fan - the whole thing is really really quiet and extremely cool.

I meant some watercooling systems require you to turn it on before turning on the actual PC.....either that or I've been reading wrong.....hahaha :unsure:

You're right some do need to be switched on manually.....

However I've got an external Koolance Exos and that has its own controller card that plugs in between the motherboard and the case switch, so when you turn on the PC, the watercooling comes on at the same time.

Also its nice and quiet.........

thanks but about 6months after I bought it the prices dropped thru the floor - from £175 down to about £80....

pukka case though - black widow..... :D

My sisters bloke works in the business. yep it all starts up together when you bang on the pc switch. Toms hardware is a good website - loads of info to get people started.
