need help or advice with older Camry

We are a multiple Toyota family - currently own 2004 Avalon, 1996 Rav4, and 1993 Camry.  I'm having problems with the Camry - intermittent no start no spark.  I had the distributor replaced a couple of years ago for this problem, and seemed to cure the problem for several months.  It will run great for days or weeks, but then won't start.  It doesn't have any codes stored.  I had the ignitor tested at Auto Zone and was told it was bad.  I bought a replacement and had both it and the original tested - both tested good several times (the guy said sometimes 1 would test good until it got warmed up.  He got them HOT.)  I put on the replacement and it worked for several days.  Now, it fails after about 3 days, but will start and work fine if I just unplug and reconnect the ignitor.  Does anyone have a good idea where to go from here?
