Avensis ignition switch

HI, After being advised to buy a new starter motor (which I foolishly did), I found out it is in fact my ignition switch.   I am happy to buy and fit, however can anyone advise if I can just fit a new switch or do I need new key, barrel, transponder thingymajig too??

 

Any help would be appreciated.

Just spotted this. Should be in the Avensis forum.

I have change the ignition switch in 15 minutes, and you don't remove or replace anything else.

I made a similar post with photos a few years back. If i find it I will link it to this post. 

Can i assume you have already fitted the new switch? If so this will benefit others.

Yep.  All sorted now.  Bit of a pain to get one of the small retaining screws from the backing the switch.  Other than that pretty straight forward.
