Guys, what do the seals around the headlights on the AE111 actually do? (And no smart Alec say seal!!!!)
One of mine flew off on the motorway and I was wondering weather or not to take the other one off as well. :unsure:

They make a seal against the bonnet (when it's shut) to stop some debris dirt getting in that way.

For some reason the seals (by toyota standards) were not very well 'stuck' to the headlight.
I don't recomend you pull the other off but get a replacement for the one that has 'vanished' and put a couple of dabs of superglue in a couple of places, like I had too with mine.
