any one tell me how this dial is meant to work , i watched it today on tick over and it was on minus , does it rise when you drive off , and when full you can give it some welly ? :lol:

if it's like the MR2 .. you'll have a - and a +.

it's the boost you are running. when you boot it the needle should (after a small delay) point to over the +.

The problem is the stock guages are rubbish and impossible to tune your car with. Get a good aftermarkent one and plumb it in.

Just to add to what Bibbs said...

You can safely give it the berries after a quiet warm up for around 10-15 mins :thumbsup:

thanks guys,so the more the turbo is running the needle stays in the + , is this correct. if i keep it to minus the turbo is still and i'm saving on fuel costs. ???????????

Thats correct, when the needle moves up. then it is indicating that the turbo is spooling up. :thumbsup:

But like what Bibbs has already mentioned, the gauge isn't the most accurate of things, If you up the boost your best buying a 2bar digital or analouge gauge. :)

Allegedly. :D But You`ll soon get to the point where you need your fix of boost. (Mines about every 2 minutes) Thats when fuel consumption goes west. :lol:

ok so i buy a new guage , how do i then up the boost , by a screw a valve what and where is it located, thanks guys for your patience.
