Blue Bulbs?!?!?!? Confused Please Help

Hi can someone tell we please how i can get the small(dimmer) bulb out of each headlight, as i have blue ones and when i go at them only the power connection comes off at the back!! Please help!

You rotate the whole plug and unit itself 90 degrees i think clockwise, the plug should come loose and you should be able to take the whole thing out with the bulb attached.

It can be a bit tight as i found out when i did mine ... but they do come out. Also it should tell you in the manual how to change them. :thumbsup:

Nice one lads bit stupid of me, seemed tougher than it was!!

Lights look class, there just blue caps which fit over the bulbs but

they look savage when on!!

40 cent for two bargain!!!

It is indeed an ar5e to do them... especially the passenger side! My fingers lost half their skin changiny my bulbs, and i gotta do it again soon... for LED's!!

What you on about? They are legal, BMWs have blue lights, as do some Audis their not illgal. Whats the wrong doing here?

A lot of the 'blue' bulbs for sale in the Uk are marked for 'Rally Use Only' and 'Not Road Legal'.

I used to use these and asked a couple of policemen about them - they said that they weren't bothered aslong as they weren't ridiculously bright and therefore dazzling other drivers.

However they did say that they would avoid them as its the sort of excuse that insurance companies were looking for in an accident ...

That's becauase they arn't strictly blue.

Bit like when ya wash white linen...it actually looks blue due to the excited electrons.

What we are talking here are bulbs painted blue...or have a blue cover on them etc etc.

Makes ya car illegal and as said..your car is no longer road worthy...so your also driving without insurance.

Ah ha gotcha..

Note-to-self: When it comes to getting blue/Audi/BMW look alike style bulbs find out best LEGAL way to do it and who does them
