Hi gerard

Are these the lights that you are looking for mate? Saw these in larkspeed magazine. For the yaris they want £335.00. They are made by morette headlamp conversions.

Heres the web site

http://www.larkspeed.com/pages/productpage...l_morrette.html

Yes you are right they would look quite nice with dans light set up ;)

jerry!!

has anybody looked into/fitted HID's to the Yaris? One thing i've always found is that the beams ain't as bright as i would like them to be on the Yaris! I enquired about it in toyota dealer and they said it was a question of the headlamp casing not being able to resisit the temp HID'd get upto. any other thoughts?

well i must admit that i dont like the "original" morette conversions, but i do like that first picture with the plastic cover.

If you find out where they are available deffo post the link. i am liking those headlights.

BUT i dont want the standard morrette :!Removed!:

Try more then. :D  I hope they would have the teardrop model as well... I've done some searching myself on the Jap sites and have come up with nothing. :(

As far as HID's are concerned, since they are not incandescent they actually run cooler than normal halogen headlamps. You would have to either forfeit your high beams, or then get one of those hi/lo HID conversions that are a bit more expensive. TRD Japan even has a kit specifically for the Vitz, but it is insanely expensive.

nice site, shame i cant figure out where the parts list is!!

Normally the Jap sites are normally user friendly.... i.e. they have some English to help us ignorants use their company :P

Did you notice that it is also the home of the famous "Pink" Yaris

getting back to the original statement.

you say that you found this on another site, is there a chance you can go back to this site, right click on the picture and check out the properties..... bit of a long shot, but maybe, just maybe there may be the orignial location of that shot

Just a thought. you may get the web site addy from that other site. Check it out and let us know what you find.
