De Cat T Sport

Has anyone successfully de catted there t sport, with a bolt on bolt type thing (so you dont need to re-weld everytime mot is due) was there any problems with the engine management light engine etc, or was it fine just to de cat then leave? Was performance difference noticable with an apexi fitted too? How much did it cost you guys? Finally i already know its illegal, come mot time.
