A little drunk however if my judgement serves me correctly at this time, the car is as french as a french baguette from ASDA !

It's right on my door step and have been past it many of times ....... personally I would of had a french person build it than someone from Coventry!

Good Luck with it though - I had a 306 1.9 DTurbo before the Celica, all I can say is get your self some clear tube and decent earthing wire in ready!!

Every Electrical Fault (and there was many) that I had was fixed by running an extra earth cable or two here and there. The rear lights were earthed under the bonnet! Why??? I just ran an Earth cable to the metal in the boot which fixed them!

The clear tube will be needed when it starts to be hard to start, you change each pipe under the bonnet with clear tube until you find where air is been drawn in!

Hopefully with it being an evolved model you won't have half the problems!

Diesel works for me. I can get 28-32mpg and still have so much torque that I can drift on roundabouts in a car weighing nearly two tonnes!

Keep that car, then find a cheap Mk1 MR-2 as a second car to play with. It's the way to go! (except I ended up with an MX-5 :o )
