Blue Tooth For Toyota What Do You Think?

It's a good bit of kit brought mine of eBay to .... even tells you when you have a text message and even when your Battery is dying  !

However I cannot for the life of me program any numbers into it ...... I say 2 and it enters 4 etc :ffs:

So taking calls is fine, dialling is a problem ;)

Prices go for around £100 - Mr T wants £300  !

I have one of these. If you own a SE or an iMate JAM it suffers from echo, but with a Nokia its fine.

I understand the Toyota kit is probably guaranteed to install in your car, but whether it's guaranteed to work with your phone is something else. Have a look around on Amazon and Expansys, you may be able to get something just as good as the Toyota kit for a lot less cash (if the £200 Buy-it-now price is to be believed).

Just check on forums for any compatibility problems with your phone.

And yes, people who drive with BT headsets permanently on are MUPPETS! Almost as bad as people who carry phones (dressed in their little mobile gimp suits) on their belts and walk around tesco's wearing their BT headset in case they get a call.

I have a Nokia CK-7W bluetooth & cradle kit in my car and it works a treat. Its getting on a bit now, so you may well be able to get them on e-bay
