Subaru Pulls Out Of The Wrc

Saw that earlier, Ford will be next unless they get bailed out by the government

Seat have pulled out of the BTCC, Honda out of F1.. things ain't looking good for motorsport at the minute :(

Its mad no subaru in wrc hard to get ur head round it, ford and citroen left for next year won't be exciting at all:(

This could be a good thing in the long term, it may create motorsport that is more competitive as the richest teams won't buy success, perhaps i am dreaming but close racing like the 90's touring cars is what it should be like i.e exciting. As for WRC the same applies with the emphasis on driver skill/bravery not that Loeb can't drive!

I do hope though not to many people will loose there jobs as motorsport is a big employer in the uk.

Its looking now that prodrive are set to continue without the offical subaru backing which will leave the cars open to having main sponser like the fords and citroen.
