Bluetooth Kit? Does It Come With Cradle?

Hi all,

thinking of this kit for my avensis, was wondering if it comes with a cradle ?

Anyone have this and is it better than the handsfree kit?? no aerials etc??

bluetooth kits dont usually cme with a cradle as you dont need to see/use the phone for it to work.

You can get kits from Lexus so you maybe able to get a cradle for your avensis if really needed.

You dont have any aerials, all you will have showing is a small microphone is you have the SWC kit (steering wheel control)

Its just so that I can charge the phone up in the car too without having to get the wire from the lighter to the phone in the way of my driving.

Just be advised that there are equally good and arguably better bluetooth kits for your car than that offered by your local Toyota dealer.

When I picked up my 6 month old Avensis TR 2.2, I inquired about a bluetooth kit and was quoted around £300 including fitting. Ouch.

I had a Parrot kit fitted - just the basic one with a small controller which is about 2"x1" which has been fitted to the right of the steering wheel, below the air vent. The control box is fitted in the area below the gear lever gaiter and connected to the SatNav/Radio system by an in-line ISO connecter. The microphone emerges just to the right of the interior lights. All in all, an extremely neat job and done for £110 by an excellent and friendly auto-electrician near me.

Hi people, got the toyota bluetooth kit and I realy do like it.

Only using the basic stuff at the moment but is really user friendly in my opinion.
