D4d Inj &pump

Recently my D4D left me by the side of the road....sadly towed in to Toyota. Computer said it was the injector pump AND injectors......R33000.00 for the job..... I opted for a tested second hand pump and injectors. OOPS the first time they said it would not work, it was the 2.5 pump i bought, ok I exchanged....... Then they told me the same problem is still there......., no presure from pump...... NOW what, ??? Should I now pay the R33000. and write off the R15000, I paid for the second hand stuf, that they showed the bakkie start before they took it out?? OR is it possible that Toyota's diagnosis is wrong??
