60k Service - Take It To The Dealership Or Elsewhere?

Hi,

I bought a Yaris last year (2002 998 cc) which had a full service history (Toyota dealership stamps) but I missed the 6 year service (it's 7 years old this year, only 29 k on the clock).

Firstly have I completely lost my FSH as I've missed a year?

Secondly, is it worth me taking it to Toyota to be serviced? They quoted me 250 pounds, do you think it'll affect my resale value if I take it elsewhere? I imagine the type of person who would by a 1L yaris would prefer to have a stamp from toyota rather than anywhere else?

Many thanks for all your help,

Josh

hi mate, with only 29 k on the clock youre cars been well serviced for the milage, i dont really think fsh will increase the resale value by to much, not on a 7 year old car, but if it was me i would still get it serviced at Toyota, one missed service stamp is no big deal
