Electric Window Retracts

Hi

I've got a 2003 T3-X and if I operate the nearside front electric window, with the driver side controls, the window goes down when the button is pressed and it rises when the button is lifted, but when it reaches the top it retracts a few inches. So it looks as though the window thinks there's an obstacle blocking the window. I've checked the window slot and there's no obstacle. To keep the window fully shut I just keep pulling up the switch and the window stays shut. Any ideas of the fault?

Thanks

Try lubricating the window tracks.

Hi

This is because the power window lost its calibration settings.

To recalibrate the window: push the button all the way until the window goes completely down andkeep it pressed for 10 more seconds after the window stops moving. Then pull the button completely until the widow goes up and keep it pulled for 10 more seconds after the window stops moving.

Cheers.
