i've just got a yaris sr 1.3, an setting off in first 1 in 3 times it takes a while to raise the revs even with the foot to the floor

i've replaced the spark plugs, put on a new air filter, serviced it, used fuel flush, reset ecu an kicked tyres an its still done nothing i'm thinking it might be fuel sender unit but don't know

anyone got any ideas?

cheers

I aint done it myself (yet)

But someone on here may well explain

All I know it's easy but a bit on the delicate side

This has been covered before, if you type in the above search bar: P0171 System To Lean (bank 1), I need to troubleshoot a P0171 error. (spelling it exactly the same, eg To instead of Too)

You should then see a page with 9 results, choose the 3rd (18 posts - 17 authors) then go to page number 2 and scroll down to the post written by georgincanada (oct 23 2004)

Follow his instructions ( with pictures) and you wont go wrong.

Hope this helps

PS

I don't think that this will cure your fault,(usual fault cured by this method is low idle revs) but there is no harm in cleaning the sensor as it should improve idle.
