Hi, this can be triggered by numerous reasons but most common are hybrid battery dead or hybrids battery cooling fan blocked by dirt. First checks you need to do is to check hybrid battery cooling fan grill located somewhere near the rear seat, open and clean and if necessary replace the filter if you have any. If too dirty inside the air ducks you will need to open and clean the fan and ducts too.

The Across is a RAV4 PHEV with a different badge and slightly different face. Mechanically they are the identical and both are built on the same production line. One has a Suzuki badge, the other a Toyota badge and 10 year Relax warranty and I rather suspect that answers your question.

I have am close to buying a new or nearly new RAV4, but my attention was caught by the Suzuki ACROSS. The new prices seem to be fairly comparable, for a similar spec, but for a year old example, the Suzuki seems to offer much better value. In other words, it seems to depreciate faster. Does anyone have any thoughts on why this should be?

It's a shame though that they made the cooler out of material that can be corroded by chlorine - the old coolers were made out of more robust materials I believe?

Interesting video especially about the timing chain wear, will see if that becomes an issue on dynamic force engines! The vid said LSPI mainly happens during low RPM, high load. As far as I know (I'm not a tech!) the hybrid dynamic force engine would be using battery+port injectors during those conditions so LSPI shouldn't happen often. I'll definitely be looking into the liqui moly flush, sounds like it may be useful! Did you have to clean your old Prius EGR/intake system at all during the 400k miles?

auto windows can all be set with techstream, not sure if the old method works still - wind the window down all the way, hold the switch for 10 sec's - all the way up, and hold the switch up for 10 seconds

Well, I spotted the Toyota Yaris Cross Premiere Edition that has all the bits I wanted, so drove from Wokingham to Pontypridd early this morning and bought it and drove it home 😄 So it was farewell to my Aygo X Exclusive. Credit to the previous owner, it's pristine and looks like it's never been used and it even has the stickers still on the shocks etc 👍 So I will be reading the owners manual to get to know it, but one thing's popped up early which I noticed on the way home. All the windows do full auto down and up, but not the drivers, not sure if that's a setting or a fault !!. I'm sure more questions will follow through time 😄

One of our number posted measurements a while back. In effect, the DC-DC Converter acts as / includes the equivalent of a smart charger - i.e. it charges the auxiliary battery rapidly when it is at a lower state of charge and at a lower rate as the battery approaches 'full'. In addition, it supplies the full demand from the 12V systems while the car is running. So, it's at least as good as an alternator would be ... 😉

do you have the camera adapter? is the camera on the a 16 pin connector or the 24 pin, did you wire the reverse signal?
