:P Thanks for the replys guys, :( but my problem was the tensioner had jammed :censor: after i had rebuilt the engine when turning engine over to pump oil round, i heard some thing strange so took rocker cover off and spotted the tensioner and i have now taken the engine out and checked the head and valves and replaced the tensioner but i now need to time the engine,is the haynes manual right? it does not look like it, so how is the best way of timing the engine, :( where is the timing mark for the cams. can anyone supply pictures of any timing marks thanks in advance guys....

Hi mate here is a Toyota diagram of the timing marks, i hope this is what you are looking for.
